Qomo Industries produces fire-rated rock wool insulated panels ideal for industrial buildings, power plants, fire partitions, and applications requiring both soundproofing and fire resistance. Rock wool panels provide non-combustible performance while maintaining the structural and aesthetic benefits of traditional insulated metal panels.
Unlike foam-based cores, rock wool is an inorganic material made from natural basalt stone. It’s spun into fibers and compressed into rigid boards that are inserted between metal facings—usually galvanized steel or aluminum. This creates panels that are fire-resistant, thermally efficient, and acoustically insulating.
Our rock wool panels can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours, making them ideal for firewall assemblies, stairwells, and areas where passive fire protection is required. They are also water-repellent, mold-resistant, and do not emit toxic smoke or gas under fire conditions.
In addition to fire safety, rock wool panels offer excellent sound absorption properties. They are often used in mechanical rooms, manufacturing plants, and commercial buildings requiring noise control alongside thermal insulation.
Qomo’s rock wool insulated panels are available in vertical or horizontal profiles, multiple panel thicknesses, and finishes including smooth, ribbed, or stucco-embossed. We also provide painted coatings and corrosion-resistant cladding for interior or exterior use.
Our panels come with precision joint systems that ensure alignment and rigidity during installation. Specialized fastener systems and trims are available for concealed or exposed fastening applications.
All Qomo Industries panels are fabricated in Toledo under strict quality control. We provide engineering specs, shop drawings, and installation training to ensure code compliance and long-lasting performance.
